Pastoral Care

Pastoral care is a ministry of reaching out with Christ's love to those in our family who are experiencing changes or challenges in their lives. Pastoral care offerings at Good Shepherd include:

Flower Ministry - smaller bouquets from the Sunday altar flowers are delivered to hospitals, care facilities, or homes.

Eucharistic Visitor Ministry - lay people licensed by the bishop deliver communion from the Sunday service to homebound or hospitalized parishioners.

Prayer Shawl Ministry - parishioners who knit shawls, throws, and blankets to be given to the ill, grieving, or otherwise challenged. This group also knits baby blankets that are given to newly baptized infants.

Please call the parish office or speak to the rector to request a pastoral care response. All requests are handled with confidentiality and respect.
